Our most recent OAC eNews had a lot in it! There are a few things we need to announce that are not "hey, you need to get a ticket…now!" sorts of things, and we didn't want them to get lost, so here is a special supplement to highlight them!

First, we want to remind everyone that the Harrison Art League has changed its meeting date! HAL now meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Meetings are held in the Hobby Lobby Art Room.

HAL's regularly monthly meeting for January will be this Thursday, January 17, beginning at 5:30.

In February. HAL will meet a half-hour earlier—at 5:00—on Thursday, February 21, with the topic being Acrylic techniques!

HAL reminds you to check out the area's upcoming young artists at the Boone County Library—the Ozark Mountain Artists Student Art Show will have K–6 grade artwork on display up until Jan. 31st and grades 7–12 Feb. 1st–28th.

For more information, harrisonartleague@yahoo.com is HAL's e-mail…or check them out on Facebook and message them for details or questions!

A scene from “Farce of Nature,” produced by the Theatre Company of the Ozarks

The Theatre Company of the Ozarks daily operations are overseen by a Board of Directors and designated Officers. Twice each year, though, the general membership of the Theatre Company comes together to conduct business—once to determine who that Board and Officers will be, and once to lay out the schedule of plays for the next upcoming season. At both of these meetings, reports on activities and the conduct of such business as the Board or membership believes requires input from the whole membership is also undertaken.

The play selection meeting typically takes place in the middle of September and the meeting for elections takes place in the middle of January. This year, the January meeting will take place this Sunday, January 20, at 3:00, weather permitting. If the weather interferes, the meeting will be moved to Monday evening at 5:45, the Board's regular monthly meeting time. If Monday is also made impossible by the weather, the meeting will move to Tuesday. If it looks like even that won't work, there will be an announcement here, as well as on the Theatre Co.'s Facebook page.

Your involvement is crucial to our continued growth in producing excellent dramas, comedies, and musicals for all ages!
