Andrew Scrivani, New York Times Food Photographer, joins The Artists Company

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last ten years you have most likely seen and salivated over the food shooting of Andrew Scrivani. Scrivani, The New York Times Food Section phenom, is taking his massive body of food photography and filmmaking talents to premier Bi-Coastal production company, The Artists Company. Having found fame and notoriety during his tenure at NYT, Andrew decided to take his skills to the small screen after having been approached by various advertisers based not just on his succulent image-making but also on his sizeable online following and distribution channels, including his making SundaySauce... blog and significant Instagram presence.

Andrew has been photographing and filming for The New York Times Food Section since 2002, the NYT premier Recipe column “Good Appetite” by Melissa Clark since 2005 and is now a featured contributor for the NYT Cooking Site and App.

In addition to his continued work with NYT, speaking engagements and shooting stills and motion for various outlets, Andrew leads off his tenure at The Artists Company with a spot for celebrity chef/Iron Chef contestant, Hong Thaimee, for her sizzling East Village Thai restaurant NGAM. Partnering with post-house Fluid, the spot was cut by John Piccolo, graded by Matthew Rosenblum with music by Butter Music & Sound and Mix/Sound design by David Wolfe of Mr. Bronx.

Executive Producer/Owner, Sally Antonacchio says, “It’s an exciting time in our business where people are finding content creators from a variety of different venues. If you have even a passing interest in food or dining, you will have certainly seen Andrew’s work. His imagery has been influencing the visual pastiche of food shooting for over a decade. He now brings his aesthetic to advertisers who have been clambering for ‘the real deal’ when it comes to the beauty and artistry of shooting mouth watering food.
Scrivani states that “Our collaboration is exciting and I feel I have the backing of a company known for it’s rich history of great advertising and upscale work.”

He is available for shooting worldwide and can be reached through The Artists Company’s network of national reps or through Sally Antonacchio directly.
