22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. | Last night's (Wednesday, August 30) monthly business meeting has items of new business (kinda strange for us). Here are three - all of which were unanimously approved: 1. Begin monthly missionary support for Rachel D. in India (begins September 1)
2. Send a one-time gift to assist Jeff & Kim Kruchkow with their print-shop remodel project in Mongolia.
3. Start the KITCHEN REMODEL PROJECT. This project includes new and additional upper & lower cabinets, countertops, hardware, and installation. There is a bit of plumbing and electrical too. The COMPLETION GOAL is January 2024. PROJECT GIVING GOAL is $15,000. Let's be diligent in our generous giving for this project as we also faithfully tithe and give.

December 2022 we placed our order for a new passenger van for the church, with the long-range arrival date of around August 2023 (this month). Checking with the fine folks at Performance Ford in Moab, our wait for this van continues into 2024. The Lord provided the funds for this van; let's trust Him to provide the van. This year's TEEN (Grades 7-12) BACK-to-SCHOOL BASH in Grand Junction is September 1-2. Learn more about it here. BE SURE TO GET REGISTERED on the Church Center App!
