Qualified trips include walking, biking, taking the bus, and carpooling/vanpooling. It's not too late to start.

Step 1: Create a free account with the Alamo Commutes app or website to create a profile and begin recording your trips.

Step 2: Once you’ve set up your Alamo Commutes profile, go to “Trips” select “Record a Trip”. Select “New Trip”, then select your mode. If you take this trip every day, select “Every week” to record your trips automatically.

The Office of Innovation has partnered with local organizations, who are leading the way in STEAM and innovation, to host the fourth SmartSA Sandbox. This family-friendly pop-up event that is a hands-on opportunity for residents to experience and imagine the future of San Antonio. It takes places at Pearsall Park will feature demonstrations of artificial intelligence, robotics, and so much more! The whole family can participate in workshops building cutting-edge technology and city-building skills from the DoSeum, YouthCode Jam, and Geekdom among many others!

The Alamo Area MPO has three regular meetings that occur each month. All AAMPO meetings are open to the public and all meeting agendas are posted on our website, www.alamoareampo.org.

The next Technical Advisory Committee meeting will be held online and in person on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Access the meeting here or at the TxDOT District Office in the Building 2 Hearing Room, 4615 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, Texas 78229.

The next Active Transportation Advisory Committee meeting will be held online and in person on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Access the meeting here or at the MPO office at 825 S. Saint Mary's Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205.

The next Transportation Policy Board will be held online and in person on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the VIA Metro Center Community Room at 1021 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78212. The TPB meeting scheduled for October 24, 2022 has been cancelled.
