Annie Boyle

Annie, as President of Beta Lambda has worked hard this semester to improve her organization. Annie is a Comm Dis major who joined Beta in the Fall of 2015. Annie shared, "I decided to become a member of Beta Lambda in order to find my home away from home at Redlands. Greek Life at Redlands is unique and special because it is a really fun community, where all organizations respect and support one another. My favorite part of Greek Life is when all organizations get to participate in fun events together, such as the Homecoming party on frat row, Presents, and Lip Sync."

Jacquelyn Archey

Jacquelyn Archey

Jacquelyn has rocked as this semester's Greek Council Secretary. She has had a crazy semester serving Greek Life as New Member Class Mom, Panhell Exec as well as being on top of her double major in English and Poli Sci AND the lacrosse team. Jacquelyn shared, "I️ found a family on the lacrosse team but the Greek Community offers more opportunities to meet all types of people. It’s so great being able to go anywhere on campus and see someone you know. Greek Life is the all-encompassing umbrella of so many different facets that make up the orgs at Redlands. As a whole, it offers social events, great community service opportunities, post-grad networking, and above all, people you can rely on. My favorite part of Greek Life is how many people I️ can honestly say are my friends. I️ feel so blessed to know so many incredibly hard-working and wonderful people." Good luck next year as the Assistant Director of a Lacrosse Club in Washington.

Fall 2017 Organization Highlights!

IMG 8581

Fall 2017 for Delta was such a success. We started off the year winning Das Boot in Lip-Sync, and took the amazing group of ladies Livin' on Cloud 9. Our yearly participation within the community grew at the Believe Walk, and writing letters to patients at Loma Linda & the Blessing Center. We had a huge turnout of alumni at our Homecoming event Cuca's & A Cold One and our President Meg Leach was awarded with Delta Girl of the Year. We have increased bonding events and had a successful Informal in Big Bear. Additionally, we hosted and co-sponsored numerous events within the Greek Community including our Greek Concert Series with ASUR and our open parties. Delta is thrilled to have our 8 abroad girls come home and we are so excited to see what the Spring 2018 will bring for our organization!

We also received 23 beautiful turtles during fall rush who’ve already grown into such amazing Zetas! We have had so much fun this semester and we cannot wait for what next semester has in store for us! Our environment focus for next semester is oceans and we can’t wait to take this focus on! This semester was a great one for Theta! The rush theme for this semester was Beatles and we got sixteen new active members. They did a great job during process and we're so proud of them all! This semester kept us busy with lots of community service, date nights, and sisterhood bonding. Collectively Theta is sitting at one thousand community service hours and we even had a trail cleanup with our brother frat Chi Sig. We had a Fratalina date night at the Theta house that the new members put on, everyone dressed to impressed! It's going to be hard to top the fun we had this semester but we're excited about what is ahead!

Alpha Xi started off the semester with our annual RAINN week, in which we partnered with our school’s new Title IX Coordinator, Erica Moorer, to bring campus and community awareness about sexual and domestic violence. During that week, we hosted a self-defense class, a candlelight and brought the director of the Netflix original “The Hunting Ground”, Amy Ziering. Throughout the semester we co-hosted a speaker, Phyllis Kim, with the Asian Student Association, which shed light on the Japanese Comfort Women. We also welcomed 16 new members into our organization! We were so unbelievably happy and proud of our Sixteen Sinful Sweethearts, they have worked so hard during their six-week process and now are full-fledged butterflies, love you all! Overall, Fall 2017 has been a really great semester for Alpha Xi Omicron and we are so excited for Spring! Alis Volat Propriis, She Flies with her Own Wings.

Fall 2017 has been an event and service filled semester for Beta. We started off our semester so incredibly excited to take our newest beautiful class, the 10 Dimes! Then we moved into the semester full force by participating in many forms of community service, such as our weekly involvement with Yucaipa's local animal shelter YAPS, and by writing many letters to our much deserving veterans and to children going through cancer treatment at a local hospital. Beta has also been very active with Redlands Operation Smile this semester, and we are proud to have two of our very own (Kiersten Langerud and Annie Boyle), running the club together as President and Vice President. We just recently threw a very successful open party Speakeasy, and we had a blast a few weeks ago at our informal in Big Bear! We are really looking forward to our abroad girls returning next semester, and we are so excited to be even more involved with the Greek community and the Redlands community as a whole in the upcoming Spring semester!

Alpha Sigma Pi has had a really great semester! We love our New Member Class, the Feisty Four (Sabrina Y., Faith P., Mary B., & Rebecca V.). We've enjoyed being involved in Greek Life this semester and all the events that come with that. Our members have gotten the chance to be widely involved on campus, you can catch us in APO, Greek Council, Jasper's Corner, RSIF, Big Buddies, DSP, OOO, ASUR Social Affairs, Maroon and Gray, SPURS, ODK, and Intramurals. This semester we've been very involved in community service, hosting book drives, sandwich making events, canned sandwich drives, the Kickball Tournament, and the Believe Walk. We also participated in our traditional community service of making cards for children in hospitals. Recently, Sigma also co hosted a visit from our Mayor with several other organizations. We look forward to another great semester and can't wait for Spring Rush!

Alpha Chi received 4 amazing girls this fall semester. We also want to recognize our four new honorary members. As sisters, we participated in many community service opportunities such as painting at the Micah House, Breast Cancer Walk and volunteered at Time for Change (our philanthropy).
