An open letter to our readers

Dear Reader:

It is that time of the year when we reach out to ask you to continue your support of the Kids Can Make A Difference (KIDS) program. Your continued and generous support has enabled KIDS to grow and thrive. In this our 25th year, we continue to join thousands of students involved in the International Education & Resource Network (iEARN) Project in learning that they can make a difference in their community, country and world by participating in the Finding Solutions to Hunger & Poverty project in the iEARN collaboration center.

Now, as we prepare to relinquish some of the daily operations of KIDS, we come to you to go Above and Beyond and make this a last time contribution in honor of the work we have done for the past 25 years. We will continue to pour our hearts and souls into managing the content of the KIDS’ program, but no longer in the KIDS fundraising efforts. For that reason, under the leadership of Mary Brownell and the iEARN team we ask you to help us raise $20,000 as part of KIDS Above & Beyond legacy program. This final effort on our part will ensure the continued existence of KIDS for the next ten years.

As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of KIDS this year and the impact this program can have, we invite you to go Above & Beyond to help us reach our goal of raising $20,000 by the end of the year.

Your special gift will help us:
• ensure that KIDS is financial able to continue all operations for the foreseeable future. These funds will be dedicated to the growth and continued maintenance of both the iEARN/KIDS and freestanding KIDS web-based programs
• maintain and increase the lines of communication with our current and future partners in the movement to end hunger, poverty, and inequality.
• Continue to produce new global media resources to engage international audiences and allied organizations to join forces

And make it a reality that you never hear from us again at year’s end asking for money.

Your increased commitment now will make a difference for thousands of students and educators both here and abroad in making a difference in their community and world.

We never forget-not for a moment that you are the reason our work is possible.

Once again, a very big thank you on behalf of the KIDS team.

With gratitude,

Jane Finn Levine, Ed.D Laurence Levine
