I finally finished the quilt for the baby and I got it done BEFORE Jennie's due date! Just. She's due Monday. Jen is still waiting for one of her "graduation from high school" quilts and that's been a UFO since 2002, so I'm pretty proud of myself for getting the baby quilt done in time. What A Great Idea!

I have no idea how we got on the subject, but two students in the front row in one of my classes at Quilt Fest in Layton, UT shared that they walk together nearly every morning.

They live in different states!

And it's not like both of them live three feet from the state line. How do they do that?! On the phone! They get on the phone together and they walk TOGETHER. I think that's absolutely ingenious! Laurita and Delight, you ROCK! And I guess there's no excuse for the rest of us.

Just One More Tip

My makeup is really old and the thing you smear on the powder with, the little circle of foam, was getting pretty nasty looking. Well, I accidentally dropped it in the cup in which I was soaking my bite splint. Long story short, the Efferdent did wonders for the foamy thing. My bite splint tastes a little "Clinique-y" but I'm getting used to it.
