Sit, Stitch and Bitch Sessions

You asked for it. We heard you. Bring your project or be inspired by something in the store. All needle arts are welcome. We encourage you to bring a friend, a guy (we would so love to see more men sharing their needle arts ideas with us). It all continues Wednesdays from 4:30ish until 7:30 - 8:00ish. All we ask is that you let us know you are coming so we are not sitting around twirling our fingers... Feel free to bring some wine with you - we will have glasses available. During these sessions, the store is also open for shopping!!!

Knitted/Beaded Bracelet

This is a quick project perfect for gift giving or to keep for yourself! You will learn knitting with beads using a crochet hook, and then embellish your bracelet with strung accent beads in the gold and silver color way. The kit comes with all the materials to make the bracelet. All you need to bring is the Size 1.00mm crochet hook and Size 4 DPN's (these are available at the shop). The cost will be $100 which includes the class fee. The class will be held May 27, 9:30am. This is a great project to make several for your holiday gift giving! June 3 - "Walk On The Beach" Needlepoint Canvas with Geri - ALL DAY CLASS INCLUDING LUNCH. This class for the intermediate to advanced stitcher will discuss thread and stitch selection and how to work multi step stitches. The class will include the canvas, threads, stretcher bars, information about the threads and stitches, and an 8 x 8 blank canvas to practice on. Cost $380 which includes, the painted canvas, the class, lunch and a kit with all the threads you will need, plain canvas for practice and stretcher bars.

Every-Wednesday Needlepoint

Getting to Know your Canvas and Stitch-In with Geri 10:00 -11:30 AM - Bring a canvas you have not started yet or one you are working on. Geri will go over each canvas, talk about it with the class and help choose threads and stitches. $40 per student. Max 6 people. Please pre-register at the shop.

Crocheted Placemats Class

Ali will be teaching this fun class for you to create a set of placemats for your upcoming entertaining events! How fun to say to your guests, "I made them myself"! Mark your calendars and come in for this great class scheduled for Tuesday, June 6 at 1:00 pm.

New Needlepoint Club Coming Soon

These fantastic 5 Low Country Houses will be offered in our upcoming needlepoint club starting in late July. You will receive a stitch guide, threads and a canvas for each one. The cost will vary for the kits. There will be some threads that you use over. The first one is $160 and then $110 for #2,#3,#4 and $125 for the final one. Memorial Day Holiday Schedule

Memorial Day is approaching, and we're watching the weather reports! If it's sunshine and beautiful, the shop will be closed Monday, May 29....but, if it's raining, the shop will be open! What better way to spend a rainy day, than to come in, stitch, shop and just have fun!
