DAY 11: THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN GIVEN A TRUST
1 Cor. 4:2 - “Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful”
Exodus 15:26 "He said, 'If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.'"
With the above two scriptures in mind, we invite you to join us in prayer for those who have been "given a trust" to care for the sick and vulnerable -- namely, our medical professionals. Canada's doctors and nurses have a massive responsibility. Most have taken the Hippocratic oath in which they pledge to "do no harm." In an age of medical confusion around issues such as medical assistance in dying, abortion and more, our medical professionals need our prayers.
Please join us in praying for God's grace to fill them daily so they can care for those they serve effectively and compassionately. Amid limited resources, please pray that they will have great wisdom. For those who know Christ, please pray that healing will flow through their hands supernaturally. For those who don't know Christ, please pray that they would turn to Him and find Him- the Healer above all healers. Please also pray that procedures and substances that do more harm than good will be prohibited. Please pray that each Canadian would be free only to take treatments that align with their conscience and that medical coercion would cease in Canada. Lastly, please pray for a revival of healing, signs and wonders in our hospitals and care facilities.
Bless you,
Directives Team
