We are back with another newsletter after a nice Labor Day holiday. Now with all the kids officially back to school it's time for us to go full steam ahead on all things vinyl.

A couple of recaps first on some really cool things that happened here at the shop the past month. We just wrapped up our 4 part live remote broadcasts of "Summer Vinyl Mix Series" with "Riders Of The Plastic Groove". All 4 broadcasts went off and so many of you decided to come and watch the DJ's spin live here at Dr. Freecloud's Record Shoppe. Stay tuned for a possible "Winter Vinyl Mix Series". There's 2 live recordings from Ron D Core from these shows that will post up soon for all to listen and download. The second great thing to recap is the tv commercial video shoot that went on at our shop for a couple of days. The shoot was a success and very soon we will be posting a link to the tv commercial that was shot here.

In regards to your new and used vinyl needs, we've been busy all summer stock piling up on the records you want. Lot's and lot's of used records have been coming in and also we got loads of new vinyl releases to.

We've been busy this entire summer making cosmetic and organization improvements to the store and the most noticeable thing you'll see is we've added hundreds of new custom made "Artist Bin Cards". If you haven't been here in awhile it's time to pay us a visit and see all the improvements. We are still working on even more improvements with the stores look and also with massive stock piling new and used vinyl for this years Christmas holiday and more record bins are being built to keep up with all the endless arrivals of records.

Used Vinyl Highlights are:
So wanna know what we've been getting in and checking in at the store for used vinyl. This week alone since the Labor Day break we got in 2 separate collections of classic rock from the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. The two collections were well taken care of and most of the pieces are super clean. About half of these records have been priced and put out into the bins. Some of these pieces were so clean they ended up filling up our rare vinyl bin at the shop. A lot of Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Frank Sinatra, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Doors, David Bowie, Billy Joel, etc. Previous collections covered primarily more classic rock, jazz, soul, funk, fusion, disco, hip hop, electro, breaks, drum n bass, house music and more.

New Vinyl Highlights:
Lot's of new Indie Rock, Synth-Pop, Soul, Funk, Alternative Rock, Classic Rock Reissues and more are some of the genres we've been getting in lately. Some key artists that we got in new releases and or back catalog on are: OMD, LCD Soundsystem, Washed Out, MF Doom, Cage The Elephant, Grimes and the previous round of new vinyl included> The Revivalists, Arcade Fire, The Kooks, Com Truise, Goldie, Cocteau Twins, Queens Of The Stone Age, Invisible Skratch Piklz, The Cure, Brother Ali, Animal Collective, Kings Of Leon, The Smiths, Chemical Brothers, Empire Of The Sun, Evanescense, Dead Can Dance and there's so much more.

We are expecting some really great brand spankin new titles this week that include Interpol, The War On Drugs, The National, Odesza and more.
