How can we pray for you? We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week. | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. I pray your week has been blessed and highly favored. I know there have been many of the kiddos heading back to school last week and this week so continue to keep them lifted up in your prayers. Even if you don’t have any in school anymore - pray for your friend's and family’s kiddos. Things are so different than when I was in school - different challenges and struggles. They need us to have their backs. They need us to listen and be understanding. Holy Spirit, teach us how to do this. My WORD for the week is “GOODNESS.” One of my absolute favorite songs right now is “Goodness of God” - take a listen sometime. But my dear friend sent me another one called “Evidence” by Josh Baldwin - which is coming in a close 2nd. Both speak of God’s goodness - and His faithfulness. There is ONE in our life that is constant - will never fail - will never let us down - will never “unfriend” us - will never speak harsh words against us - will always be on our side - will always be faithful - will always keep His promises - will hold us up when we are weak - He is our HEALER - OUR DELIVERER - OUR VICTORY - OUR WAYMAKER - OUR GOODNESS - OUR FAITHFULNESS - OUR ALL IN ALL. If you, like me, have been feeling a little down - we need to snap out of it - we are surrounded by such “goodness” all around us. Take the time to see it - feel it - notice it - give it. Share the “goodness” of God with everyone you come in contact with - I assure you it will change your life - it has been changing mine every day and I am so blessed! You prepare a meal for me in front of my enemies. You pour oil of blessing on my head; You fill my cup to overflowing. Surely your goodness and love will be with me all my life and I will live in the house of the Lord forever. ~ Psalm 23:5-6 NCV ~~~ | Blessing Box Located by the Sanctuary doors, the Blessing Box is always available.
