Thank you for giving Silver Silence such an amazing launch! Silver and Valentin's book hit the NYT, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. It also hit the UK ebook bestseller list.

I'm so excited you're all coming along with me on this Psy-Changeling journey. I can't wait to share more of this world with you.

I have some news about my current works in progress below, plus details of a big sale, and a whole lot of book recommendations!

If you're missing the short stories, never fear. There are things in progress. ;-)

I hope you enjoy!

Angels Blood - Copy

Book 1 of the Guild Hunter Series

Angels' Blood on Sale for $1.99 in USA/Canada!

I think this is the first time my USA/Canada publisher has put the Angels' Blood ebook for sale. The sale is for a limited time, so if you'd like the book, this is your chance to grab it for a low price.

If you haven't tried out the Guild Hunter series, please do! This kicks off Elena and Raphael's epic romance and introduces you to the beauty and darkness of a world of angels, vampires, and Guild hunters.

Current Works in Progress

I'm currently working on some revisions to Sailor and Ísa's book. I'm loving this story of a "hot gardener" and an English teacher who never see each other coming.

No release date yet, but we're hoping it'll be later this year. The cover is being shot in a couple of weeks.

(This book isn't set in the rock star world of my previous contemporary series, but it is connected to ROCK HARD, as the hero, Sailor, is the brother of the hero in Rock Hard. Timewise, Sailor's book will actually take place before Rock Hard, but they can be read in any order).

I've finished going over the proofs of Archangel's Viper and the book's gone back to my publisher for final typesetting and formatting. I'll have a long excerpt for you in the next newsletter.

I've waited so long to write Venom and Holly's story and I adore the story with all my heart. It's as unique an emotional journey as they are characters. I can't wait for you to read it.

I'm also starting work on the next Psy-Changeling book. I can't tell you anything about it yet, as I usually need a couple of months to sink deep into the story before I can talk about it. So more news to come toward the end of the year.

And, of course, I'm working on a short story for you. :-)

Book Recommendations

I took some time off to read after the release of Silver Silence, and had a really good run of books! Here are some of my favorites.

These first two are both set in the theater world in England.

Act Like It by Lucy Parker

This is such a fun romance with a very likeable heroine and a stiff Darcy-esque hero. Watching him fall was an absolute delight.

Amazon, Amazon.au, Amazon.uk, B&N,
Chapters, GooglePlay, iBooks, Kobo

Excerpt available on Amazon's Look Inside feature (click the book cover on the Amazon site).

Pretty Face by Lucy Parker

I loved this May to December romance! The banter between these two was incredible, and the emotions just jumped off the page. Lucy writes wonderful characters.

Amazon, Amazon.au, Amazon.uk, B&N, Chapters, GooglePlay, iBooks, Kobo

Excerpt available on Amazon's Look Inside feature (click the book cover on the Amazon site).

p.s. I think Lucy Parker is now officially one of my new favorite authors.

And a couple of historical recommendations!

I love historical romances. If you've heard me speak about my favorites before, this first recommendation won't be a surprise.

Marry in Haste by Anne Gracie

I adore this kind of historical romance - it's quiet and domestic and focuses on family. If you're looking for action, this isn't the book for you, but this quieter romance held me captive.

(And if you haven't read Anne's The Perfect Rake, you must!! It's one of my all time favorite historicals. I love it so much I even did a Goodreads review on it!)

Excerpt available on Anne's site.

Amazon, Amazon.au, Amazon.uk, A&R, B&N, BookDepo, BkTpa,
Chapters, GooglePlay, iBooks, Kobo, MtyApe, Waterstones

The Day of the Duchess by Sarah MacLean

This book is seriously, rawly emotional. It might make you cry. Honestly, the hero does something so awful* to the heroine in their past that I was like "Sarah, you are not going to make me like this guy or believe in their happy ever after" - yet somehow, she did. I read this book straight through with my heart in my throat, and at the end, I believed absolutely in the happy ending.

Excerpt available on Sarah's site.

Amazon, Amazon.au, Amazon.uk, A&R, B&N, BookDepo, BkTpa, Chapters, GooglePlay, iBooks, Kobo, MtyApe, Waterstones

*If you're worried about what the hero did and don't want to go into this book blind, there are a number of spoiler reviews available online.
