I’ve had such a great time here this summer doing some amazing things!
This summer has been an incredible time here for me and I just wanted to say a few words about how thankful I am to have had this opportunity! We’ve done some great things this summer, including Vacation Bible School, where we went To Mars and Beyond with the kids in learning about God’s love and wonder. We also took our High Adventure Trip with some members of the High School Youth Group to the Apostle Islands in Wisconsin and that was such a great time. Getting to spend time camping, hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding around Madeline Island with some great people was such an awesome experience! Another big thing we did this summer was raise money for Bear’s Lemonade Stand for childhood cancer research. That might have been my favorite thing I did this summer, as raising money for such a good cause was truly rewarding, not to mention the over $4,300 we raised! Along with all of those activities the weekly Youth Group was always a great time as we have some really awesome kids here in the church! Doing things such as a selfie scavenger hunt around church or seeing the beautiful murals around downtown Rockford were just some of the fun activities we were able to do, along with eating plenty of ice cream. Once again I just wanted to say thank you to Pastor Mark and Pastor Chad, all the church staff, and the congregation for this incredible opportunity and the wonderful experiences I’ve had this summer.
Thank You!
Carson Davenport

New Children's Bulletins for Worship
Children’s Ministry is delighted to introduce weekly bulletins, especially for kids! Each week, two versions of the Children’s Bulletin will be available as you enter worship – one is for pre-readers and one is for readers – along with pencils and crayons. The bulletin contains activities to help your kids connect to the week’s scripture lessons.

As always, church bags containing additional coloring pages and a soft toy can be found hanging in the hallway.

We hope you and your kids find the new bulletins helpful and fun as you worship together this summer!
