Dear Class of ’94,

Our Twenty Year Reunion is less than two months away! We hope that you plan to join us October 10 - 12 or to participate remotely in some of the giving and reconnecting that we are doing to celebrate twenty years. Below you will find information about events and opportunities. We look forward to hearing from and seeing many of you.

Friday Night Social. Friday, October 10. 7 pm - ???. Kick off the weekend with an informal get together at our classmate Joanne Liu's restaurant, Crios (http://www.criosmodmex.com/visit/). If you'd like, arrive early for dinner (kid-friendly); stay later for appetizers on the house. 2120 P Street N.W., Washington D.C. Tickets: $0.

Family-friendly Picnic. Saturday, October 11. 11 am - 1 pm. Bring your family, a picnic lunch, and your favorite outdoor equipment to enjoy some fresh air and old friends. Location TBD. We would love to hold this on campus at TJHSS&T, contingent on construction at the school. Stay tuned for finalized location. Tickets: $0.

Reunion Main Event. Saturday, October 11. 6:30 - 10:30 pm. Mingle and reminisce with old friends and enjoy hors d'oeuvres, desserts, open bar (starting at 7 pm), music, photos, and memories. We’ll have a photobooth to capture pictures of the fun and a DJ who is willing to play tunes from 20 years ago. GMU Arlington Campus - 3351 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia (located between Clarendon and Virginia Square Metro stops). Founders Hall Ballroom. Metered street parking and paid garage parking available. Tickets: First: $94, Plus One: $80. Plus One tickets increase to $94 on September 12.

Plan A Brunch. Sunday, October 12. We encourage you to continue the Reunion Weekend fun by planning brunch with your friends, teammates, bus pals, club buddies, etc.

Hotel. If you’re coming from out of town, rooms have been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza (1333 North Courthouse Road, Arlington, Virginia 22201) with a special rate of $119/night. Class Gift. In the spirit of reminiscing, celebration, philanthropy, and giving back we are pleased to announce our intention to make a Class of '94 Gift to the TJ Partnership Fund Campaign for TJ in honor of our Twenty Year Reunion. Our ultimate goal is two-fold:

     1. to achieve participation from 51% of the class towards the Class of '94 Gift, and
     2. to raise enough funds to name a Classroom, Lab, or other public space in memory of          our two classmates who have passed away, Seth Mitcho and Chris Venturini.

In order to achieve this goal, we need as many classmates as possible to participate in the campaign. A gift of any amount helps tremendously. One of our alumni has offered a pledge of $5000 if 20 other alumni make contributions by the end of August. You can make a donation when you are buying your reunion tickets through the link below. Even if you can't attend the reunion, this is a great way to stay involved.

All gifts are tax-deductible and can be made online at the TJ Partnership Fund website. Be sure to select Alumni under “Connection to TJ” and Class of ’94 gift under “Donation For.” If you prefer to mail your donation, you can download a pledge form here. Class Survey. We’d love to learn more about YOU (past and present!). Please take a few moments to complete this class survey (even if you won’t be able to join us for the weekend, we would love to hear from you). Results will be shared Reunion Weekend.

Reunion Report. Let us know what you’ve been up to for the past twenty years. We’d love to learn about your adventures, successes, challenges, and developments. Contact Janice (Ng) Fraser (janicemfraser@yahoo.com) if you are willing to submit a short write up about yourself to share with the class. Janice is posting the reports on our class Facebook page and is compiling a complete set of all of the reports.

Photos and Memorabilia. We need your photos for our slideshow and your memorabilia for display at our Reunion Main Event. Jenn Klar is collecting photos, so please get them to her any way you can. She lives in NoVA and works downtown, so can arrange to get them from you in person. You can send them to her at 5701 N. 25th Rd, Arlington, VA 22207 (please send them with tracking because they are precious memories). Or you can email them to her in any format at jennklar423@gmail.com. She will return your pictures - and if we use them, you'll get an electronic copy, too!

We need as many of us as possible and as many TJ activities as possible in the slideshow - so please send 1 or 500 pics - whatever you have! If you know what year they are from, jot a note - but otherwise just send what you have. Facebook, email, or call Jenn (703-597-8600) with any questions!

Stay Connected and Updated. Please stay in touch with us. Reunion information will be available on the Alumni Association website where you can also make sure that your contact information is up to date. You can also learn about class and reunion events on our class Facebook page (TJHSST Class of 1994 – check out the page for some fun throw back photos).
