The journal's former Technical Editor, Dr. Hannah Seward, has moved on to post-doctoral studies. Carina is a seasoned communications professional, author, and editor with more than 15 years of experience as Managing Editor for an international non-governmental organization that disseminates its work through a print magazine, blogs, digital news, eZine, website materials, and donor and annual reports. She has authored more than 1,200 articles in various digital and print formats. All articles published after that date will be immediately and permanently freely available online for readers. With a strong Journal Impact Factor of 4.693 (Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate, 2022)) and Cite Score of 5.5 (Scopus CiteScore (2021)), JND is now recognized as one of the most influential journals in the world devoted exclusively to NMD. In recent years the number of open access papers published in JND has been steadily increasing, so that now approximately half are publicly available.
