Halloween at SciWorks

Parents' Night Out — October 23 (5:30-11:30 pm.) SciWorks has partnered with Piedmont Opera so you can enjoy Rigoletto while your children enjoy pizza, play time in the museum, games, and a snack at SciWorks! Parents’ Night Out is open to anyone, no matter your plans. Cost is $25 per child for Members and Opera patrons; $30 for others. Email Christy Ferguson or call (336) 714-7105 to register!

Trick-or-Treat at SciWorks — October 24 (2-4 pm) Bring the kids to collect goodies from costumed friends. Trick-or-treating is included with admission. Afterwards, enjoy a "Halloween Rock" laser show in the Planetarium at 5 or 6 pm for just $6 per person. Don’t forget your costume and bag!

Gingerbread TMOM

Gingerbread House Competition

The Gingerbread House Competition is sponsored by Panera Bread to raise money for Earlier.org, a charity striving to find an earlier breast cancer test. Teams of up to 6 can compete to build the winning house, or just come to watch and have fun. Panera Bread is providing all building supplies, breakfast, and lunch! Come out to The Terrace at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 14, 2015 for a day fun with Santa and Mrs. Clause, a photo booth, and more! Click here to register today!

Winston-Salem Symphony Halloween Discovery Concert for Kids

Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.

Celebrate Halloween with the Winston-Salem Symphony! From tolling bells to ghostly woodwinds, screeching strings to belching brass, the symphony was made to thrill audiences. Members of the Winston-Salem Festival Ballet will join the fun. Come in costume! Doors open at 2 p.m., an hour before performance time, for hands-on activities including Day of the Dead crafts and activities, a drum circle, learning the steps to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, and more! Purchase tickets in advance at WSsymphony.org or 336-464-0145 or at the door. Tickets are $18 for adults, $7 for children.
