Update on Bill C-279, the "bathroom bill"

Critics have said that Bill C-279 could have a profound impact on the way boys and girls related to each other at school, especially in vulnerable places such as washrooms and change rooms. A recent article by LifeSiteNews explained that this concern has materialized.
A recent Lifesitenews article explained that when lobbying for their son to use the girls bathroom, "Parents allegedly told the principal that under the federal “gender identity” Bill C-279, along with the provincial “gender identity” Bill 33 (Toby’s Law), her child could not be discriminated against and must be allowed to use whatever washroom he chooses."

Many parents in the Toronto Catholic District School Board are gravely concerned about this situation and fear that expressing their just concerns will lead them before the Human Rights Tribunal.
What's even more disturbing is that Bill C-279 has not yet passed as an official law. It is still in review in the Senate.
Action Points:
1) Pray for Catholic schools to have wisdom to function according to their faith. Please also pray for godly wisdom to be imposed on members reviewing this bill in the Senate. Finally, pray for revival and awakening in Canada.

3) Email Justice Minister Peter McKay: mcu@justice.gc.ca and Prime Minister Stephen Harper: pm@pm.gc.ca to express your concerns regarding Bill C-279.
4) As a parent, write a short paragraph expressing your concerns to local newspapers showing the other side to this argument. We are seeking what's best for families and students on a whole.
