The World's Most Unique Scenic Flight

Welcome to Antarctica - the world's last great wilderness. Become one of the privileged few to witness the desolate beauty of this untamed polar desert. Aboard a privately chartered Qantas 787 Dreamliner, you will experience unparalleled Antarctic viewing over the vast and various landscapes of this continent.

What to Expect Onboard

With nineteen planned routes to match the day's weather and viewing conditions, no two trips are ever the same, each with a duration of between twelve and fourteen hours. Enjoy full Qantas service onboard, including premium drinks, delicious meals and talks from Antarctic expeditioners. You'll have up to four hours over the ice, and the remaining time spent to enjoy being onboard. It's truly an experience like no other.

A Birdseye View

About three hours south of Australia, passengers will usually see the first scattered ice followed by dozens of icebergs and ice floes. The flight then crosses the South Magnetic Pole where you will start to view the rugged mountainous topography of the Antarctic mainland.

In planning the route, considerable time is taken to select the most spectacular area of Antarctica within range. Many factors are taken into account when planning the route, including maximum viewing potential from both sides of the plane and the variety in land mass scenery. The photos here were taken during a previous flight - and from all reports it is truly one of the most incredible travel experiences you will have.

There are departures from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, and all you'll need is your drivers licence! Select from one of six different seating categories, including different levels of economy, premium economy and business class.
