To read more, click here. | VIETNAM Ministry to limit the universities offering PhD training The country has almost 100 universities that offer PhDs, but not many of them are "effective," Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son has said. Addressing a meeting on higher education held in HCMC Tuesday, he said 30-40% of the country's 240 universities have PhD programs, too high a number, which makes the quality "inconsistent."
