Health Screening Volunteers Needed!

Health Screenings are Sep 11th - Sep 14th

Each year, Nurse Stephanie facilitates the Health Screenings for 500+ students at Desert Cove. As you can imagine, this can take quite a bit of time!

We are looking for 9 volunteers for each day to help with the Health Screenings. If you can only help for an hour or two, that's totally fine! All help is appreciated!

The Scholastic Book Fair is Coming!

Fall 2018 Book Fair - Enchanted Forest

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held
Sept. 26th through Sept. 28th.

The Book Fair will be open until 6PM on Sept. 27th

Please look in your student's yellow folder or in the teacher's email communication for the date of your student's classroom shopping day.

Online shopping begins on Sept. 12th and goes through Oct. 2nd. All online orders will be shipped to your student's classroom for FREE after the online shopping window closes.

As always, Volunteers are needed to ensure that the Book Fair can stay open throughout the school day for classrooms to make their purchases. Volunteer slots are available in one-hour increments. Your help is tremendously appreciated!

Thanks DC Community for an AMAZING Bingo Night!

Another SUPER FUN Bingo Night is in the books! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped coordinate this event and volunteered their time to make it a success!! And thank you to all the families that came out and participated, it's such a fun time with our kiddos!

Thanks for bearing with us through the Pizza snafu! Last year the Pizza vendor brought the pizzas too early so they were cold, and this year they brought half on-time, and half were late. Pulling off a flawless event can be pretty tough, so we appreciate your patience!

If you have any recommendations for improving the event, or better yet, if you would like to help us with the next event, please email us at info@desertcovepto.org! We currently have an opening for VP of Events, so if planning Events is your jam, please let us know!
