Hope of the Harvest Charitable Garden

NOTE: Registration is Required, and Space is Limited! Visit our Charitable Garden webpage to see upcoming dates with available volunteer openings!

As a BCOC volunteer, you will help bring fresh, nutritious produce to families here in Bucks County who access the food pantries. Without your help, they may not be able to provide their families with any fruits or vegetables.

Where & When: Meet at “The Market at Del Val,” 2100 Lower State Road, Doylestown, PA between 8:00 and 8:15 on scheduled dates.

How to Dress & What to Bring:
Wear clothes and shoes that you feel comfortable working and getting dirty in. Bring gardening gloves if you have them. You will be working in the sun for several hours so also be prepared with hats/bandanas, sunscreen, and water.

What we’ll be doing:
Our tasks for the day will depend on the time of the season, the weather, and other factors. We will meet up with the coordinators from the College, who direct our activities for the day. Each day the activity varies. Lately we've harvested corn, squash, cabbage, peaches and tomatoes.

Email Eileen to register or log into VicNet.
