Protein Power Breakfast parfait

Late February, 2015

With just 28 days in the month, February has flown by quickly ... so we'll keep this newsletter short and sweet too! And speaking of sweet, our newest recipe for chocolate bark is guaranteed to satisfy your family's sweet tooth. It's made with dried cranberries, sliced almonds, coconut, crystalized ginger, hemp seeds, and our favorite: dark chocolate.

In other food news, if you love chicken pot pie but don't appreciate all the calories, watch Liz cook up our Chicken Pot Pie Bundles on Youtube. You won't believe how we gave this classic comfort food a healthy makeover.

This week's Cooking with the Moms podcast is all about PROTEIN and the importance of distributing your intake throughout the day for maximum muscle maintenance. To that end, we serve up a protein-rich breakfast parfait made with cottage cheese (trust us, you'll love it), fresh fruit, whole grain cereal, and walnuts. Tune in to the show to have all of your protein questions answered, and be sure to check out the new recipe.

On a final note, we have a POP-UP giveaway going on right now on our Facebook page. One lucky winner will receive a FREE three-month membership to the new online kid's cooking class: CHEF'S CLUB. Head on over to Facebook, scroll down until you see our Chef's Club posting, and tell us why you'd like to win this for the budding little chef in your life.

Good luck with the giveaway, enjoy our recipes and podcast, and happy cooking.
