Join us at Hamilton's second annual Monologue Slam hosted by Izad Etemadi! Watch as actors compete in front of a jury of industry professionals, performing existing Canadian monologues of their choice. The audience will get to vote by applause to help decide who will be crowned Hamilton's Monologue Slam Champion!

In partnership with the Ontario Arts Council (OAC), the Hamilton Fringe is pleased to host a grant writing workshop. Facilitated by Pat Bradley, Theatre Officer of the OAC, this free information session will provide artists with tools and strategies for writing effective grant proposals. Pat will share her perspective, information and tips about project grants and will answer all your questions!

We are looking for participants for the 2018 ALERT Program! Do you want to be a part of the next generation of artist producers in Hamilton?
WHO:
• Emerging artists, 19 years and over with less than 5 years’ professional experience
• Preference will be given to local, new generation artists (19-30 years)
• Aspiring arts leaders who are provoked by the possibilities in Hamilton and want to gain the skills to bring their work to life.
The Hamilton Fringe Festival is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help us at this year’s Frost Bites 2017.
We have many positions available:
* Box office/FOH
* Show Guides
* Postering Crew
* Set Up/Tear Down Crew
* Runners
Volunteers will be given the chance to earn FREE tickets to Frost Bites shows, and invitations to the opening night party for the Festival. This is also a great way to earn volunteer hours for school and/or future fringe festival experiences!
