With fall upon us, it's time for cooler weather, extra snuggles under the covers with pets, and fall-like activities, such as pumpkin carving and dressing up for Halloween. Are you dressing your pet up for Halloween? If so, we want to see your photos! October 14-20 is National Vet Tech Appreciation Week. While we are extremely grateful for vet techs every day, we want to give extra thanks and express our sincere appreciation to all the veterinary technicians this week!

We are thrilled to share exciting events we have coming up over the next few months. First is Giving Tuesday, taking place on November 27 this year. If you are not familiar with Giving Tuesday, it is a global day of giving, occurring after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. We hope you will consider supporting SAAC on this day!

Get your paint brushes ready, because on December 2, we're hosting a Paint Nite fundraiser. Join us for our Paint Pawty at Pizzeria Urbano! Details below, and registration coming soon!

Giving Tuesday (or should we say #GivingTuesday) is a global online movement celebrating giving and philanthropy during the holiday season. Taking place after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, this is a great event to encourage charitable giving. Give the gift of a spay or neuter this holiday season to help reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community.

Success Story: Zuki

Zuki's mom, Nadine, shared how our voucher program helped their family. "Spay and neuter surgery is part of being a responsible pet owner, and thanks to the SAAC Voucher Program, I was able rescue and adopt my sweet, precious Zuki. Their help providing surgery I could not otherwise allow me to provide help to a pet in need of love and a home."
