Thank you to all of you who prayed for the Ontario and New Brunswick MY Canada delegations who visited their provincial Legislative Assembly last month. The teams had a powerful time meeting with over 30 MPPs and MLAs. These meetings included appointments with Ontario’s Education Minister Liz Sandals and New Brunswick’s Health Minister Victor Boudreau.
The delegations met with elected officials from all political parties and spoke to them about a variety of issues. In meetings the teams expressed concerns regarding publicly funded abortions, the s-x ed curriculum, the recent anti-bullying legislation (Bill 13) in Ontario, and Ontario's push to overturn the new prostitution law that the federal government recently passed. They also asked for increased government funding for pregnancy care centres.
Please continue to pray that the teams will have divine wisdom and strategy on how to follow up with the many new relationships formed with these leaders.
The New Brunswick team will be returning in April for another 25+ meetings. We look forward to bringing you more good reports from these meeting times.
