Yeay - it's spring!!

It's undeniable - the weather might still be cold at times, there was definitely snow on the ground this morning - but the sun is out, the days are longer and things are both coming and still in bloom - it must be spring!

And thank goodness too. It seemed like a tough winter for many.

I am always aware that around this time of year winter reserves are running low, tempers are getting frayed and resilience is fading. It is no coincidence that the country's that have the shortest or no daylight hours in winter have the highest suicide rates - sunshine is an important part of our wellbeing.

I think this is because it reminds us of our inner light. When we spend our time having darkness and limited resources being mirrored back to us, we can start to think that is what we are too.

Winter is also an important time to go within, reset our intentions, and decide what our goals and plans for the year are - if we are to have any at all. I have always felt a period of introspection was important for us to reconnect back to ourselves and remember what our truth is - before we go out into the world and manifest our desires. And that's what spring is all about - literally springing into action!

New Meditation and Development Group

Based on the success of the Tuesday morning meditation group, and the fact we often overran due to great conversations and good company, I have decided to make a slight change to what is on offer. Instead of a 1hr meditation group, Tuesday mornings will now be 1 1/2hr long, allowing us more time to explore a topic and still have enough time to do a 20 minute meditation.

In addition to this, and by request from a few ex-Tuesday morning attendees, from 15th April, there will be a new Friday morning Meditation and Development group. Like the Tuesday morning group, this will run most Friday's, will be from 10.30-12 noon. There will be chance to share your experiences, discuss topics such as happiness and compassion and a 20 minute meditation to allow your mind and body to reset and find peace.
