"I pray your week has been a pleasant one. The weather in Northeast Ohio has been a rollercoaster these past couple weeks. I am not complaining, because our winter has been very mild. Such a bonus! No matter what the weather – we are blessed every day! Keep keeping on – God is our portion." "My WORD for this week is “STRENGTH.” How many of us have not been feeling very strong lately? Has life thrown us a curveball? Lately the enemy has been trying to zap my “strength” but I keep pressing on – pursuing the Holy Spirit who is our Comforter. Our pastor shared with us on Sunday that our faith will make us whole. So how is our faith lately? Has our faith been zapped of “strength?" Sometimes we need to realize our weakness – so God will be our “strength”. He already knows our weaknesses – He already knows what will trip us up – He already knows exactly what we need even before we ask. I pray all of our faith will gain the “strength” we need to overcome ANY circumstance. To go through any situation – to have the faith and the “strength” we need to be victorious! We can also be the “strength” for someone else that needs to lean on us. Reach out to someone today and be that shoulder to lean on, that ear to listen, that hug to give and be their “strength.” The scripture I chose is one of my favorites – we get 2 scriptures today – the one on the photo too! I pray it blesses you too! God, we need your “strength” in ALL things. Let’s get those spiritual muscles in shape!" I know how to live when I am poor, and I know how to live when I have plenty. I have learned the secret of being happy at any time in everything that happens, when I have enough to eat and when I go hungry, when I have more than I need and when I do not have enough. I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength. ~ Philippians 4:12-13 (NCV) | March Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11am Austin Young, Pastoral Intern, will be delivering the message on the final Sunday of March. Our crew baked bread and cookies, cleaned and cut up our own carrots, washed grapes, cooked green beans, dished up apple butter for the bread, and baked a delicious ham using our own apple butter as the glaze. It was a meal fit for a king! We highly recommend trying the apple butter on your next ham. The sweet flavor really pops.
