Dear Women of the Guild,

Welcome back! With Summer behind us, it's time to get the calendar out and find out what's happening with the Guild! But before we jump into all the fun, a big shout-out to last season's co-presidents, Maureen Kolada and Beth Sharpe. Much gratitude to them for sharing their time and treasure and guiding the Guild to another successful season. And thank you to last season's event chairs and volunteers who worked hard to provide a wonderful mix of events for the women of the parish.

And in a remarkable tribute to the generosity and outreach of our membership, last season the Guild was able to raise and donate just over $34,000 to support 30 deserving local charities primarily serving women and children. Beth Sharpe, who continues as the Guild's president this season (thank you!), has a little something planned for all the women of the parish! Chicago Botanic Garden Prayer Walk

A Special Hour Long Meditative Prayer Walk Led by Pam Coster

Guild Members- No Charge
Non-members- $10 Suggested Donation

Since the Botanic Garden is open only to Botanic members (plus one or two guests) between 8:00 and 10:00 am, the Women's Guild will help (Botanic) nonmembers get into the Gardens.

Knitting & Crocheting For Charity

All parishioners are invited to join the Women's Guild Knitting (& Crocheting) group for charity. All beginner, intermediate and experienced knitters are invited!

Location/Time - Thursday Mornings, FHC Parish Center Living Room, 9:30am - 11am

Choose a project -** Prayer shawls for struggling parishioners, baby or youth hats and scarves or cowls for the underserved or lap blankets for veterans or bring suggestions for other projects.
