Be Signs of Reconciliation

In this week's second reading Paul questions why we judge one another, since we all stand before the judgment of God. Yet we do sin against one another, and Jesus’ challenge that we forgive seventy-seven times reveals God’s boundless mercy. When we hear the words of forgiveness in worship and sign ourselves with the cross, we are renewed in baptism to be signs of reconciliation in the world.

Directory Photos September 17 & 24

Matching names with faces will be a lot easier when our directory is finished and in your hands. Plans are in place to take photos before and after each service on September 17 and 24. The picture taking sessions will be informal, using smart phones and smart photographers. You may even have the option to select and use the photo from our 2012 directory. There will be an opportunity to check/ edit any changes in your address, email and phone information. So, plan to take part in this process from 7:40 to 8, between 9:30 and 10:30 or after the 10:30 service. Information checking will take place in the narthex and pictures will be taken in the library. Come as you are and smile pretty! Your Membership Support Mission

Kitchen & Gas Stoves

Please, Do Not Turn Off the Gas!

It is dangerous to turn off the gas to the stoves in the church kitchen. All pilot lights must be re-lit manually, and we are concerned that one pilot light might be overlooked which could result a fire and possibly an explosion.
Our kitchen gets a fair amount of use, and so the stoves and other appliances and equipment need to remain in good working order. If you use the kitchen, please make every effort to leave the kitchen clean and ready for the next time it is used.
Thank You!

See you at church!
