MP Marilyn Gladu took to Facebook Live earlier this week to share the exciting news that her private members' bill C-277 was unanimously supported in the House of Commons. The bill now moves to the Senate for debate and voting.
Bill C-277, “an act providing for the development of a framework on palliative care in Canada,” calls on the ministry of health to work with palliative care professionals and provincial leaders in health to implement nation-wide palliative care standards. Especially now that assisted suicide is legal in Canada, Canadians deserve real choice and the option of choosing life when it comes to end-of-life care.

Let's agree for a healing and hope revival across Canada and that Canadians would reject assisted suicide and instead choose palliative care when faced with end-of-life decisions. Please pray a special blessing over Marilyn Gladu and that this bill would pass unanimously through the Senate as well.
