Core qualities are qualities that belong to the core of a person. These are the specific strengths that characterize a person. Core quality can go too far and transgress into a pitfall and in which way this core quality could take on the challenge to adjust behaviour.

These four terms (core quality, pitfall, allergy and challenge) are shown in a model; the core quadrant. On the basis of this model you can find out about your own core qualities, pitfalls, challenges and allergies.

Many people are allergic to the behaviour of other people for fear of the fact that they may have the same behaviour hidden deeply within themselves. Ofman’s core quadrant does not only provide information about other people’s actions, it also provides information about one’s own actions. Applying the core quadrant, will create more sympathy for one another and for different situations.
