PTA Meeting This Week!

We hope you'll join us Wednesday for our next PTA meeting and Principal Coffee! We will meet at 3:30pm in the Mills library. Students and siblings are welcome to attend! (We will have snacks, coloring sheets, and a movie playing to help entertain our Mountain Lions!) Topics for discussion include the current AISD bond proposal and how it affects Mills, the school's upcoming APEX fundraiser, and the creation of a WatchDogs group at Mills.

If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please be in touch - PTA documents from previous meetings are always available for review on our PTA website at

Hope to see you Wednesday!

Dirt Club Landscaping - October 8, 9am - Noon

Come out Saturday morning to help spruce up the campus! We'll be doing more tree trimming, installing new circle benches (see the attached picture), and anything else that generates interest. We'll be setting up behind the school, so the gates leading to the portables will be open. Walk on through and join in the fun!

Bring water bottles, work gloves (if you have them), and any limb trimming equipment you might want to use. We will also have guilt-free donuts (the calories don't count if you're volunteering while you eat them).

Do you like to create fun memories with your family all year-round? Well now you can do that and help our school by purchasing a POGO Pass! Each individual purchases a pass for $49.99. That person can access ALL the attractions on the flyer in Austin/Waco and San Antonio for that one low price. POGO has partnered up with Mills Elementary and will donate $5 for each pass purchased. Not only are you having fun, but you are also donating to our school. Purchase your POGO Pass HERE. Don't forget to add the PROMO Code: GOMILLS22, so Mills gets the $5 donation. All of the locations on the flyer are free when you buy the standard $49.99 POGO pass.

PTA Safety Committee Survey!

The PTA often hears a variety of safety concerns about happenings in and around Mills. For the past months, we've been trying to form a safety committee, but we're having a hard time getting started. Thus, we are hoping families will help point us in the right direction by answering our PTA safety survey. We'd love to hear from you!
