ATLANTA - Over the last 24 hours, two public polls were released showing conservative small businessman Governor Brian Kemp as the strongest Republican candidate to take on Stacey Abrams in November and with a commanding lead in the GOP primary.
Quinnipiac University's survey found Governor Kemp leading the GOP field by seven percentage points, 43 percent to 36 percent, and ahead of Stacey Abrams in a general election matchup 49 percent to 47 percent.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution also released its most recent poll on the 2022 Georgia Governor's race, with Governor Kemp leading Stacey Abrams 48 percent to 41 percent, nearly double the margin of any other Republican candidate.
