The City of San Antonio is leading a visionary effort to rethink how San Antonians move around the city. The Bike Network Plan will define a network of safe and comfortable bike facilities to connect people to their favorite places.

The plan will guide how trails, bike lanes, and crossings are built and will serve as a resource to help identify where they are needed most.

To make this plan a success – your input is needed. Throughout the plan, there will be many ways for you to have your voice heard! Take the survey at SABikeNetwork.com.

Each year, the City of New Braunfels budgets funds for street maintenance projects to be completed throughout the next fiscal year. As discussions begin for the 2023/2024 budget cycle, the City’s Public Works Department is seeking input from the public on which city roads need to be addressed in the coming year.

As part of the public input process, an in-person public forum is scheduled for tonight, July 25th at 6pm in the Tejas Room at New Braunfels City Hall, 550 Landa Street. During this public forum, residents will hear from the Public Works Department about which roads are eligible for street maintenance projects, the selection process, and the type of projects that will be in the proposed street maintenance plan for 2023/2024. Attendees will also be given information on how to submit their input for city street improvements.

For those unable to attend the public forum, an online survey will be available from July 25th through August 4th, giving residents a chance to submit their input on the Street Maintenance Plan. To fill out the survey, visit www.newbraunfels.gov/streetsurvey.
