School’s Out Tech Workshop on Nov. 12

Calling all Techie Kids ages 8-11! Schools are closed on Nov. 12, but your child can enjoy a full day of interactive learning with robots at the Greensboro Children’s Museum. Children, ages 8-11, will explore robots and apps including Dot and Dash, Cubelets, and Ozobots, while building problem-solving and teamwork skills along the way.

Sneak Peak at The Montessori School of Winston-Salem

The Montessori School of Winston-Salem (TMS) invites parents of rising middle schoolers to join them on Thursday, November 15 at 6 pm to learn about their Adolescent Program and get a “Sneak Peek” of their brand new North Campus, home to the 7th through 9th grade Montessori program.

The cornerstone of the adolescent curriculum is a student-run micro-economy — from producing and selling homemade jam to raising livestock and bee-keeping. Students who graduate from this program are well-prepared to tackle not only a rigorous high school experience, but also the challenges and opportunities of adult life.
