Dear Friends,

I am writing to tell you that the sweet, sweet season of LiveWell!Ministries and R&R Retreats is coming to a complete close.

There is ever so much I want to tell you, but this newsletter is probably not the place. So please know these 3 things:

1. God has been directing us this way for the past year, it is not a snap decision. As many of you have heard me say, I am not the leader of LWM's - GOD is. And so in this we choose to follow. And believe me when I tell you, it's been a hard choice ... which leads me to the next statement.
2. This is HARD and I personally have grieved much. This is also GOOD. It's good because it is God-directed and God is good. And we choose to trust Him.
3. This is a part of the cycle of life and we KNOW new growth will rise from that which we allow to die.

We are going to plan a Celebration of Life Service in the New Year - a time for us to gather - for me to tell you my stories - for you to tell each other your stories - and for us to give God thanks for these years and times together with Him and each other. Stay tuned for more information regarding this time.

In the meantime, I am transitioning to:

1. The care of my mind, body, and spirit:
My body continues to unravel instead of coming into wholeness

2. The care of my husband and son in all the transition points they are in:
My husband lost his job one month ago (at the age of 60). And my son is living with us post-college and transitioning into 'real life' mode.

3. Teaching, writing (blog and book) & mentoring leaders:
I will be blogging at TheDandelionDays and will send you that information once it's up and running. And I am (FINALLY) writing a book that grew up and out of my summer sabbatical.

4. Entering fully into the Transforming Community experience with Ruth Haley Barton for the next 2 years. This began in October and will be a great source of nourishment for me personally.

5. Practicing hospitality:
We've transformed our in-law quarters into a place where others (like you?!) can come, rest, retreat, enjoy ... take a look and come visit!

Thank you for your prayers and support as I go through major transition with my own family as well as with LiveWell!Ministries. Every single moment of the last 9 years with LiveWell! have been a treasure, honor, and joy.
Thank you for making it so!!

Forever grateful,
Jenny Gehman
