10th Annual Church Yard Sale! Saturday, September 6, 8:30-2 pm

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Yard Sale we are inaugurating the first EVER church wide virtual volunteer sign- up sheet!! This is YOUR chance to sign up using this new tool!!! Click here.

We are amazed with how many people have already signed up! IMPRESSIVE! But we know that many people haven’t had the joy of our weekly announcements during church, so this is our virtual CALL OUT for volunteers. Volunteers are still needed to help in the following areas: LINENS, KITCHENWARE, SPORTING GOODS, ELECTRONICS, AND THIS N THAT (which is everything else that no one knows what do to with). All you need is a 2 hours to help sort, organize and price.

Many hands make light work… Lend a hand this Sunday, August 24 at 10:30 am as we transform Fellowship Hall, the mezzanine, chapel and the library for the Yard Sale. We will be moving all the collected stuff as well. Lend a hand for an hour!

Join us during the next 2 weeks either during the day or even during the evenings after work. Our evening crew will enjoying special themed evenings:

▪ August 26, 6-8 pm: Red Sox Night Enjoy cracker jacks and lemonade while you sort and price. Enjoy listening to the game as the Red Sox take on the Blue Jays at 7 pm.

▪ August 27, 6-8 pm: Celebrate Just Because Day Celebrate Just Because Day. Come and sort and price just because… On this day you don’t have to have any reason for doing something. If you’ve never helped with the Yard Sale, today is your day, Just Because.

▪ August 28, 6-8 pm: David Soul’s 70th Birthday Who the heck is David Soul? He played Hutch in the TV Series Starsky and Hutch, the 1970’s cop thriller. Enjoy cupcakes as you sort and price!

▪ September 2, 6-8 pm: Celebrate National Peach Month Enjoy fresh peaches while you sort and price.

▪ September 3, 6-8 pm: Count Down Wednesday Only 2 more days of sorting and pricing before the big day!!

Nancy and I are often told "WOW being chairs of the Yard Sale is a big job." We reply that working with our church community brings us great joy. By helping with the Yard Sale you can experience this same joy. We look forward to your help!
