In book news…
I was determined to give Harry exactly the happy ending he deserved! That took a bit longer than planned, so I’ve pushed back the release date of Gallant Scoundrel—but only by 2 weeks. Now it will be a Leap Day release (Feb 29) at which point everyone can “Leap into a NEW Sparkling Romantic Adventure!”
It will be up for pre-order at all vendors within the next two weeks, at which point I plan to offer a special pre-order-only price. I’ll mention that again in my February newsletter and also on my Facebook page once it goes live there. |

Have you noticed you often miss announcements and special deals from your favorite authors on Facebook? That’s because Facebook, in their infinite wisdom, only shows followers a fraction of what those authors post! BUT if you actually visit a page you’ve liked and click the little drop-down on the “Liked” button, you can choose to “see first" under "Posts in newsfeed” and/or check to receive Notifications for that page. I can’t promise Facebook won’t still sometimes skip stuff, but that should result in you seeing a lot more posts from that page. I did this for a local bookstore/brewery (yes, really! It’s called Books & Brews) and now see almost everything they post—which is awesome! In case you're wondering, I sometimes post short-term sales or other authors’ sales, releases and freebies on my Brenda Hiatt Page, along with any funny meme that strikes my fancy. I also give away an ebook EVERY Wednesday there, and I'd love all of you to have chances to win! |

Wedding planning update!
My daughter Dawn's August wedding isn't all that far off now! Over the holidays, she and I (and her sister and future mother-in-law) went shopping for saris and other wedding finery and it was SO much fun! Here I am trying on a lehenga. I'm learning oodles about Indian fashions, wedding traditions and culture(s) and loving every minute of it! |
