We are here to pray with and for you, anytime! Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray your week has been a fabulous one. I have been enjoying my week so far. Spent time with family all weekend and it was wonderful – lots of laughs – lots of love - and a few happy tears. God is so good! He loves to bless us in everything we do, that is for sure." "My WORD for the week is “BOUNDARIES” – it seems like this has come up in some of my conversations these past few weeks. Sometimes we need to put up some “boundaries” in our life that are a benefit to us. At first, we think we are being mean or being rude – but honestly it is for our good. We can love from a distance. God made “boundaries” first. It was for Adam and Eve’s good – but like the humans we are – they crossed the line. As soon as they did, the Holy Spirit checked them and they were ashamed. God only wants what is best for us – what is going to help us grow in our walk with Him. When we set up “boundaries,” do not let it be a brick wall but more like a fence. Then maybe when God says its time – you can take it down more easily. “Boundaries” keep us in line with what the Holy Spirit wants to teach us every day. Make sure our “boundaries” are what we need and not just what we want. Some “boundaries” for me are to not bring ice cream into my house – because I know I love ice cream. I know this may sound funny, but we need to know our “boundaries” and keep them. But let us always watch for the opportunity to let our “boundaries” down, when and if it is time. Always keep your “boundaries” open as far as God is concerned – He will guide you always in the right path. Have a blessed week!" “Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." ~ Genesis 2:15-17 (NKJV) ~~~ | New Devotionals Available Two new booklets are ready for you in the Great Room. The quarterly devotional from Our Daily Bread for June, July, and August has arrived. We also have a special book of ten devotions that Our Daily Bread put together entitled "Freedom For All." This can lead to emergencies when someone needs to enter an empty stall in a hurry and finds they are locked out.
