A Note From Mr. Sandefur
Lion Family,
Good afternoon! I hope that each of you had a wonderful time during fall break and that you and your families were able to enjoy some much-needed time together. I was blessed with the opportunity to represent TKA in Empukani, Kenya, this past week. By developing multiple relationships, a professional education program, and a pen pal letter program, I believe that the relationship between Empukani Primary School and The King's Academy will be fruitful.
My surroundings truly humbled me as I worked with fifty to sixty students in a room at one time. The constant that I observed was that kids are kids regardless of where they live. I am thankful for the opportunity for our students to impact those around the globe as they learn how to be servant leaders that can change the world for Christ.
As we enter our second academic quarter, I want to encourage our students to do their very best. While our first quarter was closer to normal than we have been in a long time, we recognize that we continue to adjust to the new social, mental, and academic norms as we come out of the pandemic. I pray that our parent conference day was beneficial for you and ask that you continue to reach out to your student's teachers as needed to ensure an appropriate partnership. As always, Go Lions!
In Christ Alone,
Jeremy Sandefur
