Hello!
Happy November! It's been a glorious fall here. The light and colors have just been spectacular and I've had fun capturing a bit of that. I hope you've had a chance to savor it, too.

I'm already planning for events in December and January, as well as next May and will share some of those events that you might be interested in.

I recently took a wonderful online course called Meditations in Gratitude that used photography as a tool to focus on being more grateful in our lives. It's was a very inspiring experience. This is one of the images that I created during the class. It was a moment, a gift, of pure joy and beauty. I hope you experience many of those moments this month.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Cover image for the 2017 Trees: A Year of Mandalas Calendar.

How is it possible that it's almost time for a new calendar?!

For 2017, there are two choices for my popular fine art calendars!

The tradition of a mandala calendar continues with Trees: A Year of Mandalas. All of the new mandalas chosen for this calendar are based on images of trees.

Do you, like me, often yearn for a bit of beach and water? They always have such a calming effect on me. I've designed a second calendar for 2017, The View from Shore, featuring some of my many images of water.

Spring Photography Retreat - Open for Registration

New Skete OCtober

Just a few of the images created by the participants of the previous retreats.

What are you doing next May, the first weekend? Don't know? I do!

I'll be leading another Seeing with New Eyes Photography retreat at New Skete Monastery in Cambridge, NY.

The dates are May 4 -7. 2017.

Imagine spending two days in a place of beauty and peace, away from the noise of the world, in community with other photographers with uninterrupted time to play and learn with your camera.

The 2015 retreats were such a success that the Monks of New Skete have asked me to come back. This time, we are collaborating to create an even richer experience. I will still be leading the photography portion and the Monks are providing wonderful hospitality and community.
