"I pray you have all had a fantastic week and the weather has been kind. We are blessed because His mercies are new every single morning. As soon as we wake up – new mercies are ours. God loves us so much. Another dear friend of mine is rejoicing with Jesus now. Her race is run, and she is resting in His arms. I am looking for the day we are all reunited with our loved ones. Oh, what a glorious day!" "My Word for today is “YEARN." What in our lives is so important to us that we “yearn” for more? “Yearn” means long for, to pine, deep desire or wish for. Remember back when you were young, and you were dating? You could not wait until you were with your significant other or even just to hear their voice on the phone. Or maybe when you had a newborn and had to return to work. Those minutes you were away just ticked slowly by. The Holy Spirit wants us to “yearn” for more of His presence in our lives. We need to get focused and locked in on the Holy Spirit in our lives. He will help us through everything we encounter, every day. I “yearn” for the day when Jesus we shall all see! We will all be rejoicing around the throne together. Have a super blessed week!" We spent time checking for fallen trees, which we will eventually cut up and clear away. We went bug and worm hunting to find food for our frog. We also worked on getting rid of some of the lingering snow piles that were in the way. We even enjoyed a good long walk in the woods, all the way back to the creek. Keeping with the theme of physical activity, we put in some hard work cleaning in the greenhouse and working up at the warehouse. We also began the task of yard clean-up, removing heaps of sticks and small branches that had littered the grass and flowerbeds out front. Our crew headed to Sam's Club on Tuesday. In order to be prepared for October's Giveaway, we are pre-sorting the clothing by sizes into storage containers. We had to go buy more containers to keep up with this project. If you have items to donate to the Giveaway, we are ready, willing, and able to accept them any time!
