Carol's Write - Up For Tonight's VortexHealing® Session
Greetings,
Since I sent out the announcement for our last session, we have stepped out of our lives as we knew them. With a global pandemic and widespread social distancing the new reality, it feels like we have moved into a sci-fi scenario. There is only one story on the news. Maybe there are different chapters to this story but it all comes back to the overall focus on the Coronavirus. This Thursday night let’s take a break and focus on The Heart.
The next session in the “Freeing the Heart” Series of distant Group Healings will be focusing on releasing Anger, Resentment, Blame and Frustration from the Heart Barrier and downloading a template for Forgiveness, Love, Acceptance and Patience. The session is happening on Thursday, April 23rd. There will be a half hour conference call starting at 7:15 p.m. eastern time followed by the 70 minute distant healing starting at 7:45 p.m.
Thoughts about the Session
If you pay attention to what is happening right now, if you let yourself be touched by the energetic and consciousness fields of the planet, there are so many things that reach the heart. There are so many things to pray for, so many places to send healing energy. It can seem overwhelming. I’ve been doing a prayer practice to the Divine Mother. At first I started to name some of the things I was concerned about. As I was naming all the groups of people that needed prayer and support, tears came to my eyes and my heart felt full and open and there was a feeling of a pull of energy toward all this human need. It felt overwhelming to hold my focus on it all, so I asked that the Divine Mother send the benefit of the prayer to where it was most needed. After a few days of doing this I thought I would douse about it. I asked if the energy of the prayer was really going where it was needed and I let the pendulum swing yes or no.
The pendulum swung In the yes direction.
In this situation, the more free our Heart is the more it is available to send love and healing energy to those in need. The freer our heart is the easier it will be to face and flow with all that is being asked of us right now. The freer the Heart is the less likely we are to be stuck in anxiety, fear or lack of hope. It is a very good time to be working on Freeing the Heart. We need an open pathway to the Deep Heart right now for our own sake and for the benefit of others. The more positive Heart energies of love and compassion we can embody the more of these qualities will be imprinting the group field of humanity. This is exactly what we need right now!
This session we will be focusing on releasing the trapped emotions of Anger, Resentment, Blame and Frustration from the energetic Heart Barrier. These are difficult emotions, challenging emotions. Most of us do not get enough or any guidance as we were growing up on how to deal with these emotions. No wonder they shroud our hearts. We can feel all of these emotions about someone or something outside ourselves but we can feel them about ourselves as well. We can commonly feel a lot of anger and blame towards ourselves. Anger can be a very important and potent ‘waking up’ emotion. It can wake us up to an unfairness or an injustice going on in our life or in society and can start us off with its power to take action. However, as I used to say to my clients, anger and blame are very bad ‘nesting’ emotions. They are hard to live with in an ongoing way and if we have unfinished business with these emotions it will be a constant drain on your energy. To help you figure out anger and resentment that may be still lingering for you, look for times or places in your life when you experienced frustrated desire or what you perceived as an unfair boundary intrusion. These are the two main triggers for anger.
The corresponding qualities we need to develop to deal with anger, resentment, blame and frustration are Forgiveness, Acceptance, Love and Patience. A lot has been said about forgiveness. I will say this; do not rush to forgiveness. Go through whatever process you need to go through internally to feel ready to forgive. One of these processes may be to develop acceptance. We may be angry because we did not get what we wanted. The ego hates it when it does not get what it wants and feels things are unfair when this happens. Let yourself feel this unfairness and grieve it but don’t get stuck there. Accept that things do not always work out the way you want and you can’t control everything. (The ego also hates being out of control.) Not being able to accept reality as it is playing out puts us in a kind of war with the flow of reality. This can lead to lingering resentment and bitterness. This is a key aspect in the healing of Twelve Step Groups and shows up in the famous Serenity Prayer.
The Heart Breath
Here is another healing practice you can use to deal with anger, resentment, blame and frustration. It is called the Heart Breath. I learned it in a psychotherapy workshop.
Imagine breathing in through the crown of your head and drawing the breath down through your head and upper body until it reaches your Heart Center. Let your breath rest in the Heart Center.
At the same time as you are breathing through the crown of your head, imagine breathing from below the soles of your feet up through your legs and lower body until the breath reaches your Heart Center.
To be clear, you are breathing down through your head and up through your legs at the same time until both of these breath directions come to rest in your Heart Center.
Once the upper and lower breath have reached the Heart, let them join together and breathe in and out of your Heart Center a few times.
Now, imagine sending your breath from the Heart Center to the Heart Center of someone you are angry at or hold resentment towards. (This can be an aspect of yourself if need be.) Consciously feel the open heartedness of the mingled breath in your Heart and send your Heart Breath out of the front and back of your Heart Center towards the person you are angry at. Continue to do this until you feel it has done its work or until you feel an interior shift in your state. This may take several minutes.
This practice can also be done with a partner. (You do not have to be angry at each other. This is an exercise in opening the Heart.) You can sit facing each other and send the Heart Breath to each other for a few minutes and then share your experience with each other.

About the Session
This session will be 70 minutes long. Carol will be using Merlin’s Grace level Vortex Healing®Divine Energy Healing. Geordie will be using his own modality Angelic Liquid Light Healing© (not an aspect of Vortex Healing.)
Carol will also be using a Divine Consciousness tool that comes through for her. (Also not an aspect of Vortex Healing.) We will also be requesting the assistance of various groups of angels and Goddesses to support and offer blessings. We will be channeling to release the stuck emotions of Anger, Resentment, Blame and Frustration from the energetic Heart Barrier and requesting a template for the qualities of Forgiveness, Love, Acceptance and Patience.
What to Expect from a Session
The energetic and consciousness healing modalities we are using have their own wisdom and they affect each participant in a unique and individual way. The energies always work for the highest benefit of each person. Participants often report feeling relaxed, nurtured and / or energized. Some people drift off into a pleasant altered state and don’t remember much. If this happens the healing energies are still working with you. Other people have physical sensations or inner experiences such as inner visualizations or feelings of energy flow. Sometimes people experience memories regarding a certain issue or insights to do with it. The energy of the session may continue to work after the session for several days or even weeks. The way an issue is manifesting in your life may shift, clear or change so it is good to be open and notice anything coming up or settling down.

If you wish to join in as a distance participant, please let Geordie know by e-mailing him via the contact form on his contact page. And let him know your whole name as you would like it to appear on the distance list. Please let him know by 5 p.m. on the day of the session. You may include your animal companions for free. There will be a 30 minute conference call before the channeled Group Healing. You will be given the call in number when you register with Geordie. You are not required to join the conference call in order to receive the Group Healing. The conference call starts at 7:15 p.m. Eastern time and goes until 7:45 p.m. The distant group healing starts at 7:45 p.m. and goes for 70 minutes.

Information for Participants
You are welcome to join the teleconference call which happens before the channeled group healing. (See info above.) Joining the teleconference call is not required to participate in the channeled group healing. The ideal situation is to be in a quiet meditative state in a place where you will not be disturbed. You may focus on the theme of the session or you may focus on an issue that is important to you. The active channeling lasts about an hour but the effects may linger on longer than that. Please do not do anything that requires alertness such as driving a car during or right after the session. In this time of global transformation we need to be present with open hearts. Join us this coming Thursday night to take a further step in Freeing the Heart.
