As Whovians know, the first episode of Doctor Who aired on BBC 1 in November 1963. To commemorate this historic occasion, we're throwing a party and staging our two favorite eps (actually, one story in two parts): "Empty Child" & "The Doctor Dances!"

That's right, folks! On Sun. Nov 16 at 6 & 8 PM the Old Franklin Schoolhouse is the fabled police phone box (it's bigger on the inside) and London during the Blitz.

Don't be left out in the cold when the Tardis takes off! BUY YOUR TICKET NOW!

FEATURING Jeff Maschi as Jack Harkness, Danielle Illario as Rose Tyler, Mike Jarmus as Dr. Constantine (and the Voice of Raconteur Radio), and starring Thom Boyer as everybody's favorite time-traveling, humanoid alien.

And introducing Sam Reuter as the Empty Child!

WITH: Theatrical lighting, period costumes, vintage commercials, Golden Age radio equipment, and extensive sound effects!

PLUS: a variety of snacks and drinks including (Sonic) Screwdrivers (alcoholic), homemade Jammie Dodgers, and Pied Piper Punch (non-alcoholic).

AND: an extensive display of Doctor Who memorabilia including a range of Sonics, keys, blueprints, and fashion accoutrements (scarf, fez, pocket watch, emergency bowtie, etc.) from different seasons.

ALSO: jazz vocalist Danielle Illario sing's Empty Child's "It Had to Be You" LIVE! and celebrated Eighth Doctor cosplayer/Who historian, Ron Daniels, holds court before and after the show.

PLUS: Doctor Who Trivia Contest! Win two tickets to our upcoming "TWIN PEAKS" radio play & party!

AND: Need a new sonic? How about a Tardis tea kettle? Or a shiny Cyberman X-mas ornament? Tented outdoor Doctor Who Fan Store on site!

ALSO: Come in cosplay and get a whopping 39.79% discount on your ticket. Cosplay must be head to heel. Reply with pics. Once "approved," you will be sent a secret code word that will ensure your discount!

Discount brings the general admission down to $15. Alas, cosplay discount doesn't apply to already discounted admission (i.e. kid tix).

$25 in advance. $35 at the door. $15 for ages 18 and under.

Bring a banana to our party and get a special mention in our "broadcast!"

This event is part of an ongoing collaboration between Raconteur Radio and the Borough Improvement League.
