These are high resolution images on very flexible MINX film foil, not toxic, cheap plastic like some wrap we don't talk about. Baba's nail wraps never tested on innocent animal, and non-toxic. You wrap on nail, heat with blow dryer, and go.

If you like science: film foil is material used in electronic capacitor, invented by Polish fellow name Karol Pollak. Revolutionary material.

MINX nail wrap last longer than salon manicure. In fact, this product is what many salon is now using instead, for around $50. But you can do at home for much less expensive, and have traditional Ukrainian art!

It seem Ukrainian life is one long holiday. When we not working hard. Is now coming Ukrainian Mardi Gras! Maslyanitsa is celebrated week before Lent, which come early in 2016. Depend which calendar you follow. Baba leave religious debate alone.

Maslyanitsa is holiday when we stuff our face five minutes after digestion is finish from Rizdvo and Malanka. Traditional is nalysnyky and mlyntsi, crepes and pancakes.

In Ukraina, we make straw figure of butter goddess Maslyanitsa (butter is maslo) and throw mlyntsi at her, then burn her to say, "Bye bye, stupid winter, we don't need you no more."

Mardi Gras mean "Fat Tuesday", because of how much everybody eat that week. Should be "Fat Friday to Sunday."
