Give the Gift of Mountain Biking
In 2012, when we launched the Minnesota High School Cycling League, we asked people to step up and make individual donations. Many of you did, and our league has seen 40% growth annually as we’ve been able to establish more than 70 teams from all across Minnesota and build the infrastructure to host our races. Thank you to all of you who stepped up to help us get our league launched.
But now it’s time help our disadvantaged and inner city youth in Minnesota communities who can’t afford to race in our league. From July 14 through August 1st, we’d like to raise $10,000 to provide race scholarships to junior and senior high youth who need our help to participate in our league.
Your donations are tax-deductible, and will be devoted entirely to race scholarships. A $250 donation will provide a deserving student the opportunity to race. A $500 donation will provide this opportunity for 2 students. If we reach our goal of $10,000, 40 more students will be afforded the opportunity to race in our league.
Please give the gift of mountain biking for kids who normally could not afford our sport. #Morekidsonbikes!
Race the Grind!
Save the date: September 3rd, Labor Day weekend and consider this new race as a tune up for the League season that starts the following weekend (Sep 10, Austin MN). The Grind is an official Minnesota League sponsor. The course is scenic, tough, and fun with races from 15 miles to 39 miles. So race the Grind and support your league!
