Over 5,000 Michigan educators moved their #LearningForward at the annual Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) conference March 15-17 at the Cobo Center in Detroit.
The conference offered hundreds of breakout sessions, a makerspace, a student technology showcase, and an exhibition hall of the latest and greatest technology tools.
One of the highlights from the conference was a keynote from education reformer, Sir Ken Robinson, whose has presented past Ted Talks with much prestige. With his powerful messages on creativity and innovation in the classroom during his presentation at MACUL, it was clear why he has influenced millions of people.
REMC1 funded a charter bus that helped bring 30 educators to the conference. REMC1 is planning on doing this again for next year’s conference which will be in Grand Rapids, March 7-9, 2018. Save the date!
