Thank you so much for checking in. I hope this Saturday finds you happy - with hopefully some time to sew! (I've still got my hopes up!)

Can you believe Mother's Day is only 2 weeks away? Have you thought about gifts yet?

Here's a list of over 50 gift ideas that you can make or buy for your favorite quilter.

And if you are someone else's favorite quilter, but they're not sure what to get you, well, send them this link. ;)

Projects made with Sunnyside Ave

I've started to see lots of cute projects popping up featuring my Sunnyside Ave fabric collection.

It makes me so happy when I do!

Here's a list of a bunch of recent projects - many of which are free tutorials - featuring Sunnyside Ave.

(I'm loving the idea of that apple bag for a teacher appreciation gift. Speaking of which, I need to get working on that...)

This year I've made it a goal to feature a charitable sewing cause every month as a motivation to also do more charitable sewing myself.

Since starting the Sew Goodness challenge, the cause that has been most often suggested is Days for Girls.

I LOVE this program.

Are you familiar with Days For Girls? Maybe you already know about the wonderful cause behind DFG, but haven't known where or how to contribute.

I've got helpful links to both introduce you if this is something new as well as point you in the right direction if you want to get started helping the cause.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement of my blog. I'm so grateful for all of you!

Wishing you a happy spring weekend!
