We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray your week has been fantastic. Our weather this past weekend was picture perfect in NE Ohio. Just a tease of things to come because come Wednesday evening/Thursday morning we could have lake effect snow! Keeps life exciting for sure. I planted a bunch of flower seeds on Saturday. Now we wait. I love to see the beauty that God creates from each little seed. How much more beauty he has created in each one of us. Which is a perfect segue into my Word for the week!" “Worth” – if we only knew our “worth” to our Savior, how different might we feel about ourselves? The enemy has used the way we “look” in such a negative way that some may doubt their “worth.” I am not sure who this is for this week, but I felt it so strong to say that I pray you share with others that may have forgotten their “worth.” We are joint heirs with Jesus. Do we really realize what that means? Everything He has or even does – it is ours to have and greater things we will do! Just imagine – greater things! (John 14:12) Before we were created – God knew just how important each one of us would be to Him. Jesus died for you and me – for us! He thought we were “worth” everything He endured so we could be redeemed by His great love. There is so much more the Holy Spirit will show us. We just need to be guided by His voice – His leading – His knowledge. Our “worth” needs to be shared with others. There are so many that are hurting and longing for someone to help them see their “worth.” Holy Spirit, lead us to others and help us to help them. Use us, I pray, every day. Are we ready to take our rightful place in Him? Let us go!." “What’s the price of two or three pet canaries? Some loose change, right? But God never overlooks a single one. And he pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail - even numbering the hairs on your head! So don’t be intimidated by all this bully talk. You are worth more than a million canaries." ~ Luke 12:6-7 (MSG) | May Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am. This meant we spent Monday outside, enjoying the weather and doing all sorts of tasks. We planted the Easter flowers, mulched, weeded, worked in the greenhouse, and helped Mike bird-proof the kitchen fan. On Tuesday, we headed to Boardman for a Sam's Club run and then out to Canfield to White House to get cherries for jam. We needed to resupply our Cherry Habanero Jungle Jam! We also worked on cleaning up stuff outside and did more weeding. Weeding season is definitely underway! The chilly temps on Wednesday kept us mostly inside, making jam and cleaning. Today we plan on working in the greenhouse, cutting up a fallen tree, and starting a new mushroom growing experiment. (If you're counting, yes, that makes two mushroom growing experiments taking place here this spring!) We are also looking forward to next week with excitement, as we have a long-awaited field trip to a farm planned. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather! Next Saturday, May 7, our market/show season really kicks off with a bang. We will be at the Youngstown Flea at 365 E Boardman Street from 9am-3pm. We will also be in Columbiana at the new Harbel's Market at Vagabond Village across from Firestone Farms from 12-4pm.
