Yes, believe it or not, Fall is almost over and Winter will soon be upon us (and I think we're all hoping it'll be a WET one)! That means now is the best time to start planning your Winter workout routines and schedules. That way you can start off the new year with a plan already set and you'll then be much more likely to actually start those new habits and make noticeable progress towards those new-years fitness goals.

To that end, we've done our best to put together another great weekly class schedule for the Winter that hopefully includes the types of exercise you need and makes it possible for you to fit it into your busy schedule. We've filled it with a diverse assortment of workout options at a wide variety of times and locations. And we're still offering these classes at prices that can't be beat!

As you'll see, we've retained the majority of our schedule from this Fall term but have replaced or rescheduled a few classes due to low attendance and/or changes in instructor availability. We've also added in some exciting new classes, such as "TRX Conditioning", "Jillian Michaels BodyShred", and "Vinyasa Yoga". An important reminder, as well, is that all of these classes will be offered in warm and dry indoor classrooms so you can be comfortable and safe while exercising during these cold winter months.

Also, don't forget that the first week of the Winter term, January 4th-10th, is our FREE "Try Before You Buy" week when admission is free for everyone. Invite your friends and co-workers to start exercising with you and you may create a new workout buddy for the year!

So, here are pictures of (and links to) our schedule of group exercise class offerings during the upcoming Winter '16 academic term. This Winter schedule will begin on Monday, January 4th, and end on Saturday, March 20th. There will be several exceptions to this schedule during the winter due to holidays facility closures and changes to facility hours during finals week, so please make note of the key dates listed beneath the schedule, and always refer to our Google Calendar for the most accurate and up-to-date listing of class offerings.

Last-minute schedule changes are always a possibility, so please always refer to Group Exercise Calendar on the front page of our website (fitlife.ucsc.edu) before leaving for your class.

Schedule Exceptions:

Due to campus closures, OPERS facility closures, and/or OPERS facility reduced-hours on some winter dates, classes will not be offered on the following dates and times:

Mon, 1/18: No classes (Holiday - MLK Day)
Mon, 2/15: No classes (Holiday - President's Day)
Mon-Fri, 3/14-18: No morning or evening OPERS classes (Reduced Hours)
Sat-Sun, 3/19-20: No OPERS classes (OPERS Closed)
